For Individual Traders (Sole Proprietorship):
- Valid ID card and TIN certificate
- Renewed trade license.
- One passport-size photograph.
- A written application letter
- Initial deposit of Birr 1000
For Private Limited Companies/Partnerships/Share Companies and Others (Common Requirements):
- Valid trade license or an Investment certificate (for the investor).
- Memorandum and article of association
- TIN certificate
- letter of request, signed by authorized persons
- Valid ID cards and one photograph of the signatories
