Bahir Dar – Bahir Dar University signs agreement with Bunna Bank on November 5, 2021 that would benefit its administrative and academic staff. Dr. Essey Kebede, President of Bahir Dar University, stated that the university and its community is working to get our country out of the current challenges and contributing its share to the all-hands-on campaign to get rid of the TPLF terrorists. He added that the university community in parallel is working earnestly to achieve the mission of the university, and that the agreement will help this determination yield fruit.
The agreement enables university staff get affordable loan for real estate, automobiles and home furniture. Bunna Bank’s Northwest District Manager Ato Lijalem Muche assured the university community that the bank is committed to serve them by providing several options. He also commended the university on its initiative to create opportunities for its staff through the agreement signed with the bank.
The agreement entered into effect immediately on the signing of the agreement. Over ten thousand of the university’s staff are expected to be covered by the agreement.
