በኢትዮጵያ የባንክ ኢንዱስትሪ ውስጥ በዘመናዊ አሰራሩ የሚታወቀው ቡና ባንክ፣ የISO/IEC 27001:2022 የመረጃ ደህንነት አስተዳደር ሥርዓት (ISMS) የክትትል ኦዲትን በስኬት ማጠናቀቁን በይፋ አስታውቋል። ይህ ከፍተኛ ዓለም አቀፍ እውቅና የተገኘው ባንኩ የመጀመሪያውን የብቃት ማረጋገጫ የምስክር ወረቀት በተቀበለ በአንድ ዓመት ጊዜ ውስጥ ሲሆን፣ ይህም ተቋሙ ለላቀ የዲጂታል ስታንዳርድ እና ለመረጃ ጥራት የሰጠውን ከፍተኛ ትኩረት የሚያሳይ ትልቅ ስኬት ተደርጎ ተወስዷል። የተካሄደው የክትትል ኦዲትም የባንኩ የመረጃ ደህንነት መዋቅር አሁንም ድረስ እጅግ አስተማማኝ፣ ወቅታዊ እና አዳዲስ የዓለም አቀፍ መስፈርቶችን በሚገባ የሚያሟላ መሆኑን ዳግም ያረጋገጠበት ሆኗል።
በአሁኑ ወቅት በመላው ዓለም የሳይበር ጥቃቶች ስልታቸውን እየቀያየሩና ይበልጥ እየረቀቁ በመምጣታቸው፣ ቡና ባንክ ለዚህ ጉዳይ የሰጠው ትኩረት ተራ የቁጥጥር ስራን ማለፍ ብቻ ሳይሆን ደንበኞቹን ካልተጠበቀ አደጋ ለመታደግ ያለውን ዝግጁነት የሚያንፀባርቅ ነው። ባንኩ ይህንን የላቀ ደረጃ ማሟላቱ የደንበኞቹን የግልና የፋይናንስ መረጃዎች በከፍተኛ ጥንቃቄና በሚስጥር ለመጠበቅ ያለውን ጽኑ አቋም የሚያሳይ ሲሆን፣ ከዚህም በተጨማሪ ማንኛውንም አይነት የደህንነት ስጋቶች አስቀድሞ የመለየት፣ የመከላከል እና ድንገተኛ አደጋዎች ቢከሰቱም እንኳ የባንኩን መደበኛ ስራ ሳይስተጓጎል በፍጥነት የማስቀጠል አቅሙን (Operational Resilience) በሚገባ አሳድጓል። ይህ ስኬት ባንኩ በአገር ውስጥና በዓለም አቀፍ ደረጃ በፋይናንስ ተቋማት ላይ የሚጣሉ ጥብቅ የደህንነት መመሪያዎችንና የሕግ ማዕቀፎችን በሚገባ ማክበሩን ለባለድርሻ አካላት ማረጋገጫ የሰጠበት አጋጣሚ ሆኖ አልፏል።
